UCD were knocked out at the quarter finals stage of the snooker intervarsities on Saturday last.
One of UCD's players failed to attend which was a bad start to the weekend.
Being beaten by IT Tallaght 6 frames to 3 ended a disappointing weekend overall for the UCD team.

In the group stages UCD beat DIT 'B', drew with UUJ and lost out to QUB 'A', leaving us in second place in group C

On the plus side, Joe Thompson reached the quarter finals of the individual event,
losing out eventually to ITT's Stephen Byrne, 2 frames to 1.

NUI Maynooth retained the team trophy and Johny Williams (NUIM) took the individual crown.
